The food was really good but the wait staff is horrible. Saw one server stick his finger into someone's food and taste it before taking the food to table.
Really enjoyed my Pulled Pork Sandwich! It was lean and flavorful, not greasy or fatty, with several choices of sauces - we will go back and try other items for sure.
The pulled pork was excellent. The side dishes were not prepared very well. In my case these were cole slaw and Brunswick stew. Our server acted as if she was doing us a favor by being there. I wouldn't recommend this place.
What a wonderful place! We rented the upstairs for our office party and it was fantastic! Great food, wonderful service, and the room up there is perfect and affordable for our smaller group! We even got to take home the leftovers!

Outstanding, from the BBQ to the sides,this place delivers. I am very picky about my BBQ since I also cook and do my own BBQ cooking. Very pleased and will be back.

If you only ever eat one chicken sandwich in your life, it should be this one. No other will ever compare! Also, the most amazing collards ever. I can't wait to go back!

The food is amazing!! The collard greens and potato salad is incredible. We had the pudding pie and it was awesome. I highly recommend Buxton!!
Great atmosphere. Not the best bbq ive ever had but still good. I would have been ok with just a veggie plate. Very tasty selection of sides. Would like to go back and try the ribs and desserts!!! Oh...and a little on the pricer side but it wouldn't keep me from giving it another try!
I recently tried this iconic Ashville restaurant am excited to say the hype completely exceeded my expectations! The whole hog BBQ experience is something these guys have perfected. I had the BBQ plate with macaroni salad, and a "Traditions" cocktail, made with house made Mountain Dew, and Ancient label Bourbon. Service was fast, very helpful, and our waitress made our experience even better. highly recommend this spot to all who visit this fine city. I even had to get a pint of BBQ to go!
