Incredible atmosphere, top notch customer service, and legit whole hog BBQ. Well worth the drive from Greenville SC.
Great cocktails, great food. Amazing chicken sandwich!
First time there a couple of Saturdays ago. Long line at entrance under a sign that reads take out. Wasn't sure if we were in the seating line or take out line. Waited about 10 minutes just to get our name on the seating list, then about 40 more minutes to get a table. Once seated the waitress told us they were out of barbaque and bone in chicken. Jeez, wish they had of told us that when we first got there! All we had to choose from on the menu was a catfish or chicken sandwich. Out first and last visit there.

Buxton Hall received such rave reviews from seemingly all the experts, but we did not think it was anything extraordinary at all.
The food and staff were incredible! Perfectly seasoned everything. My son is a nibbler, but he ate his pulled pork sandwich so quickly, I didn't even get to ask for a bite! And I refused to share my fried chicken sandwich. We'll definitely be back! And HUGE thanks to Bartender Andy who gave us suggestions of other sights to visit nearby!
Loved it!!! Delicious BBQ, fried chicken, the sides and sauces were amazing.... and the hush puppies....Yum!!
The chicken sandwich is ah-mah-zing. Can't wait to go can and eat at this place again. Everyone was so nice.
Great atmosphere! Great food! And our waiter was very good too! Make sure you ask about the history of the building, very interesting!
