Start a religious cult! Amazing Q and fixins, stopped my first night and then came back cause I couldn't find anything I wanted more, good beer selection too! The chef is killing it.
Where else can you find the best whole pig BBQ, awesome vinegar based sauce, the best green beans in the world, homemade desserts that are gorgeous and even more delicious, adult slushies, Fullsteam beer on tap, really cool T-shirts, AND a fried chicken sandwich that's so good, you'll want to order a second one for the road?! The rubs were heavenly with the most perfect vinegar sauce I've ever tasted. Must try the Rye pale ale it is amazing. Great service and atmosphere. I will go every time I'm in town.
I want to give a shout out to Buxton Hall Barbecue for allowing me to eat and enter their pit area today. This place was on point. I had their whole hog plate and a couple of beers. The plate consisted of meat, 2 sides, pickles, slaw, and corn bread. The meat was moist and smokey(didn't need any sauce). The two sides were green beans and macaroni salad. The beans were on point! One of the best barbecue places in the country. Food is always amazing and service impeccable. I've eaten here in the late afternoon with my elderly mother who has mobility issues. They were kind and did not rush her. I've also eaten here on a busy weekend evening and had to wait a bit, which was no problem since there are many breweries nearby.
Soooo gooood! Friendliest staff I seen in a long time. We are stuffed and taking home the sweet potato pie!!
Fries were cold and the ribs were dried out. Not the greatest. Plus no great service. Won't be back lived in Asheville all my life and there are better Eastern NC Style BBQ places in town. Even the baked beans were dried out.
Very much our favorite place to eat!!! Such a diverse menu and delicious desserts. Highly recommend
The smoked catfish dip was to die for! All of the food was amazing!
