I've eaten at Skylight, Pete Jones, B's and Rodney Scott's, this was as good and then some, loved the Nanna Pudding Pie also! Only downside is parking, take an Uber!
Everything was well prepared and super tasty especially the collard greens! The best collard greens I've ever had! Service was very nice did a great job! Will be back!
From the friendly staff to the on the floor managers, this place is run like a Swiss watch. A special thank you to Emily and Austin for making my stay in Asheville one of the most memorable vacations of all time. Everything I've eaten was top notch in every regard; and fast too! You guys are second to none.
Best muscles I have ever eaten. I would order a glass of the broth and drink it as a beverage if they served it that way.
RC Cola Baked Beans and Smoked Pimento Cheese. Ridiculously good food and service. Building and decor with nostalgia.
Food was good but our service was so so. We waited a really long time to get our food. Watching more than one table get there food before us when they came in after you was upsetting. Waited 45 minutes to be seated then 45 to get our food . Ordered drinks called the valcano was so bad tasting we sent them back. Tasted like chemicals. The pimento cheese app was to die for very good. No complaints on the food.
Great dinner, I had the mussels, indescribably good...I know mussels at a barbecue restaurant seems strange, but not when it is prepared with the barbecued pork! Quite a delicious item, my husband had the pulled pork plate, the sides were the show stoppers. The best collard greens ever, delish cole slaw and black eyed peas. Then there was dessert...chocolate mousse berry pie, polished off very quickly, we will be back for rib night!
The chicken sandwich was wonderful. The barbeque was very good. The service was great. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend Buxton Hall Barbeque and will be going back when we visit Ashville again.
2nd time there and yetcto have been disappointed. Brought my family there and they loved it. I purchased Elliott's book and love it as I also smoke my own Hogs, would love to hang out one night when Elliott is smoking on me himself! Love this place and the atmosphere and the variety of food and the HASH, OMG!
