From the second I left this place, I wanted to leave a review. That could be good or bad. In this case, it was the most terrible experience of my short lived time in the beautiful city of Asheville. From the second I sat at the bar, I was neglected for about 5 min on a NOT BUSY night. There were two bartenders, a sweet hipster girl and her sidekick, a Hawaiian shirt wearing, tattooed fool. Train your staff to acknowledge everyone that walks in your doors* I waited 20mins until someone asked me if I needed anything* Passed by your host 4 times and twice by another, before they began to wonder what I needed.(I've got video*) So I'm sitting at the bar and order a drink, don't just ask the people that are eating if they need anything. Ask everyone. It sucks walking into to places in Asheville and be treated like I've done something to offend anyone.

Loved this place. The chicken and the banana pudding pie were memorable.
Sucks! Waited 2 hours for a table for my party. After the wait we had to be spit up at two different tables after seeing other big groups at one. After all that's done, I left my glasses on the table after eating bbq that tasted like it was a week old. I walked out and right back in to get them and they are gone. Being we are almost the last people out of the restaurant. Was in Asheville 2 days and ate here twice! I normally sit at the bar where I'm promptly waited on. The medallions with potatoes were excellent. But....the best thing on the menu is the Peach Pie! Hands down the best I've ever had. Can't wait to return to Asheville....just for Buxtons.
Great atmosphere and great food! No hassle parking was a plus.
I really enjoy this place every time I go. 10\10 would recommend.
