Fast service and amazing BBQ. We will definitely be returning next time we are in Asheville!
Just happened upon this place looking for BBQ while visiting in Asheville. We showed up before they opened for dinner, boy I'm glad I did that. By the time they opened at 5:30, there were a good 75 people waiting. Shown to our table right away. Had a waitress that grew up in our hometown in South Florida, sorry but I don't remember her name. Food was delicious, wait staff was on point. Went home with t-shirts to remember our experience. Will be back, for sure!!
It's good bbq! But considering it's Asheville and all the competition for restaurants around town, it's a little pricey for the "bbq" category. There are other places to get bbq (Bonfire, for example) that is equally tasty, but more bang for the buck. But what else do you expect from The Slope? You're paying more because of the location. Expect a wait just like anywhere else you go in this city. Solid bbq, but expect to pay a little more.
We heard both the cheeseburger and fried chicken sandwich were good so my daughter and i split them. Literally the BEST chicken sandwich and burger I've ever had. Loved this place!
Every meal I’ve had at Buxton Hall has been very very good. Love the barbecue, love the sides. And that bourbon slushy? Mmmm!
Everything is just too spicy hot, (even the extremely small serving of slaw), in my opinion & very overpriced!
Worse ribs ever, sides had no seasoning, coleslaw had none of the flavors described by our server. I We went there with big expectations of a great meal, sorely disappointed..
Very disappointed, luckily had good company! Ribs well done, sides bland. Over priced.
Service was horrid. AGAIN! Yep, not the first time your lovely staff have managed to be underwhelming and incredibly rude, yet I try to keep supporting you...well not anymore. I feel as though I must also mention the inconsistency in the food, but that I could forgive. Over salted hash. Under seasoned Lima’s...have been here so many times and the last three just proved that I really can’t give you my money anymore. Your staff are just the worst. Good luck!
