Best damn barbecue I've ever had. And I've had some good BBQ. It's also saying something when I say that as outstanding as the BBQ is, my favorite thing on the menu is the chicken sandwich. I finally had a chance to grab brunch this weekend and it didn't disappointed. Every bite was a revelation. Service is always exceptional. Friendly and attentive. Cocktails are always outstanding. When people ask me my favorite restaurants in Asheville (or anywhere tbh), this is always at the top of the list.
Absolutely the worst service I have ever had in a restaurant. Over a 2 hour wait and had to split up our group and then they set up a large table right behind us. Terrible service.
Buxton Hall BBQ is incredible. Best BBQ I’ve had anywhere. I could not recommend this place highly enough. Get there and try it. You’ll be happy!
Y'all, so good. Chicken sandwich (or biscuit, if it's brunch time) is amazing, pork is great, hash is my fave, sides are terrific & they have some really creative weekend stuff that's based on local/seasonal goods. Next time, when Baby is less fussy, I'm coming just for desserts! Also, staff is great. We had a wonderful waiter who brought the fussbucket a hush puppy sample & was super sweet. Excellent. First time here tonight upon recommendation from the hotel front desk. Great service. Great food. The ribs were some of the best I've ever had. Highly recommended. Loved the bourbon/my.dew/tang cocktail.
