What happened to Lashonda Hazard?
Lashonda Hazard aged 27, an African American woman was ignored by this hospital when she was in agony and in desperate need of medical intervention. She and her baby are dead, having been sent away by Rhode Island Women & Infants hospital. Shame on them.

White doctors/nurses don't take black women's pains seriously. They think we don't "feel" pain like our white female counterparts. It's blatant racism. A woman & her unborn child died due to negligence from an incompetent staff. Hope her family sues this hospital for everything they've got.
How can you go on with a clear conscience knowing that a woman and her unborn child are no longer here due to your carelessness? I don’t care about any of the positive things that other patients have to say in regards to your selective caring. To have a complete disregard for human life and this Lashonda’s worth is an absolute disgrace. The people responsible for sending Lashonda home needs to be held accountable.
