When a pregnant woman of color tells you she’s in excruciating pain and thinks she’s dying, you tell her it’s nothing you can do? You check the baby but the name of your facility CLEARLY states WOMEN AND INFANTS!!!! WOMEN AND INFANTS!!! WOMEN AND INFANTS!!! Your job was to check on them both. Save them BOTH! Now they’re both dead. Screw you !!!!
They're negligent of expectant mothers in pain, especially those of color. Now a woman and her precious baby are dead
on January 6th of this year, Lashonda Hazzard, a pregnant woman in her 20s, went to this hospital in pain and was denied care. The next day both she and her baby died due to lack of care and compassion by Women's and Infants Hospital of Rhode Island. This young woman was black - a person of color
The Neglect and lack of concern this hospital has is horrifying. Please don’t put yourself and your baby in care of this place, you may regret it.
You should try to actually provide care to your pregnant patients so they don't die.
Care more about the health of black women and babies. Don't dismiss their medical concerns. Sadly, a woman and her child are now dead.
This place is awful!!! A woman and her unborn baby were turned away and not given the appropriate care that they deserved. Shame on you and your racist and neglectful institution!
