The Busy Bee is a hometown favorite for no-nonsense, down-home cooking. The locals outnumber tourists, a telling indicator of the Busy Bee's style. Red faux-leather booths line one wall, opposed by an old-time diner-style counter with red false-leather topped stools. No fancy New Southern pretenses here, just bona fide Dixie standbys like fried chicken, oxtails, smothered pork chops, fresh fried corn, greens, and candied yams. The marriage of soul food and Southern tradition is a happy one, and it comes pretty cheap, too.

Wouldn't come to Atlanta without eating here!!! Best Soul Food ever-everything is amazing! 👍 Definitely worth the wait!

This is the best soul food I've ever had!!! We waited for a little while but it was sooooo worth it!! The food was piping hot, flavorful, juiciest white meat chicken I've had, I could go on and on lol I definitely will be back when I come back to atlanta!!!!

Food was outstanding and the people were very friendly. But the customer service from the tall lady waitress was TERRIBLE! Other than that, this is a great place to eat.
