The Busy Bee is a hometown favorite for no-nonsense, down-home cooking. The locals outnumber tourists, a telling indicator of the Busy Bee's style. No fancy New Southern pretenses here, just bona fide Dixie standbys like fried chicken, oxtails, smothered pork chops, fresh fried corn, greens, and candied yams. The marriage of soul food and Southern tradition is a happy one, and it comes pretty cheap, too.

Paid $17 for 4 pieces of chicken, 2 sides and a roll. Thought that for that price it would reverse the aging process, but no luck. Q-time just as good for half the price.

We ate from NC we were in GA FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY IN FEB they were closed on Saturday. So coming back from New Orleans my hubby said let's stop by on our way through home. 2 plates oxtails and meatloaf $32 that's way to high food was aight but not for that price. S&S down the street was better and the price sorry but not sorry. And the wait time was ridiculous
