The Busy Bee is a hometown favorite for no-nonsense, down-home cooking. The locals outnumber tourists, a telling indicator of the Busy Bee's style. Red faux-leather booths line one wall, opposed by an old-time diner-style counter with red false-leather topped stools. No fancy New Southern pretenses here, just bona fide Dixie standbys like fried chicken, oxtails, smothered pork chops, fresh fried corn, greens, and candied yams. The marriage of soul food and Southern tradition is a happy one, and it comes pretty cheap, too.

I normally don't comment or give negative reviews about any restaurant I visit. I patronize so many that one bad experience is often ignored. Not today!!! The service sucked!! No one working in the restaurant had a smile on their face. In fact there was an argument going on amongst the employees. It was very busy most likely because of the Falcons game. I Truly Loved it... Food was Amazing and the Sweetest Owner Ever.
Everytime I'm in Atlanta this place is a must. The best soul food yet. The red velvet cake is always on point I take a whole cake home Everytime I'm in town.
We loved dining at the Busy Bee Cafe. The food was exceptional!! The collard greens were the best I have ever had in a restaurant and I was amazed at how hot and fresh out of the oven every dish was. It was packed and we waited on a list for 45 min. however it was well worth the wait.
Best fried chicken ever . Loved the macaroni and cheese collard greens and sting beans . We love it all! Our waitress was such a sweetie !!
Food was great, but dining experience was VERY unorganized. They need a better system, larger location and longer hours of operation
