The Busy Bee is a hometown favorite for no-nonsense, down-home cooking. The locals outnumber tourists, a telling indicator of the Busy Bee's style. Red faux-leather booths line one wall, opposed by an old-time diner-style counter with red false-leather topped stools. No fancy New Southern pretenses here, just bona fide Dixie standbys like fried chicken, oxtails, smothered pork chops, fresh fried corn, greens, and candied yams. The marriage of soul food and Southern tradition is a happy one, and it comes pretty cheap, too.

I eat at Busy Bee often just alone for lunch or dinner. I have family and friends that come to visit me throughout the year and i always take them to Busy Bee for a Busy Bee delightful experience and they love,they make sure i take them there before departing. The host is a very nice gentlemen along with the waitresses. The food is superb.
Good old fashioned Soul Food!!! My tastebuds are always satisfied no matter what I order!!! �
They have the best soul food ever! I will be visiting again real soon just to get some good soul food. Everybody was so polite & friendly. I’m all the way from Dallas, TX......
