Awesome fun for the whole family! We originally hadn't planned on coming here, but we stopped at Knuckleheads to let the kids play some games and opted to stop over for something to eat. I am go glad that we did! Even I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the train go by delivering drinks or food. The food was good too. I had a pulled chicken sandwich and at first I didn't like the thought of no sauce, but being able to try my own made it enjoyable. Just subpar. Dark and dirty ambiance. Food was horrible. Ordered the haystack, it came out in a basket clumped together in the exact shape as the basket it was fried in. Tacos were horrible. If you are from the Chicagoland area and know what real tacos taste like I'll save you the hassle - don't get these tacos, they were greasy, shredded Monterey Jack cheese and steak that seemed to have been sitting in a tub of marinade for a week. The hamburgers are frozen. Root beer is average. Service was decent.
Service was great. Friendly staff and waiter. My chicken was full of gristle. Had to redo the bacon because it was a jiggle mess. They brought new bacon which was perfect and some new cheese too. The pepper jack was processed like American cheese. Not even real do it had no flavor. For 11.99 I expect a non gristle piece of chicken with a good slice of actual pepper jack.
Just got done eating there and threw up, the food was seriously undercooked and I wasted $50 on food that tasted as if it were reheated..
Terrible. I been coming here for years and someone changed the menu. Clearly to save money. And they shouldn't have a job. Chicken with hair.....cold sauce out of a bucket.....ew. And a large thick crust......I thought she got the wrong table. I have pics to prove it. Spend your money elsewhere. Its a rip.
