About this business

This Pan-Asian nightspot centers around a 10½-foot gilded Buddha. Buddakan features glistening decor accented by wasabi-colored booths, two full bars, plenty of sofas for lounging, along with a 20-person community table where you can share food and conversation with friends. Chef Scott Swiderski has created a whirlwind tour of the Pacific Rim in menu form, from Garlic Grilled Shrimp with Long Life Noodle to Wok Smoked Salmon to Szechuan-crusted Tuna with wasabi sour cream.

The wasabi crusted filet was one of the best meals Ive ever had in my life! That and the dim sum donuts for dessert are an absolute MUST!!!

My husband and I visited during restaurant week. We had the Short Rib Pancakes, Sweet and Crispy Jumbo Shrimp and the Wasabi Crusted Filet. Every dish was amazing! The service and food was EXCELLENT! We look forward to returning to Buddakan!

Food and service was excellent especially the bus and extra servers. This week was resteraunt week so three courses for $35, so that is a bargain. Saki and wine selection very nice. The seating close to the door brings a very cold wind into the resteraunt, this could be easily fixed. Lighting was too dark, it must be bright enough to read the menu. Coat check in nice touch and valet was fast and friendly. Looking forward to visiting again because the food is awesome on nice hot plates!

It's was my first time there , our waitress was not well trained, she was leaning all over myself and friends to pour our water. Some food came and some for we had to wait on for a while, then wrong food was brought to our table. I was so dispointed. I would not be returning .

When I arrived the wait time was 3 hours for a table!! I sat at the bar and ordered to go instead I had the dim sum sampler and small calamari salad. The dim sum was pretty good but the calamari salad was out of this world good!! I will definitely come here again on my next trip.
