Located half hour north of Seattle, Buck's American Cafe has good food and a casual atmosphere, making it a worthwhile stop for folks with business at Boeing's Everett plant. The menu is a cornucopia of decent burgers, soups and salads, plus dishes like Baked Sea Bass, New York Pepper Steak, Wild Mushroom and Goat Cheese Ravioli. Every weekend, the restaurant serves slow-roasted Prime Rib. Leave room for the special pies (Peanut Butter, Bourbon Street Pecan and others).

It's probably too early to be writing a review after only one visit -- especially after ordering a cheeseburger. Who does that?? Me I guess. The place was old school with a fantastic ambiance. Our servers were really good. But here's the rub. I ordered their top of the line cheeseburger with havarti and blue cheese -- and it was good. But the cheeseburger across the tressel at King Charleys on Hwy 9 smokes this burger at a third of the price.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. The steak bites and clams are amazing :)
My husband had the 3 egg omelette with smoked salmon and cavair and I had the halibut fish and chips! To die for!!!

Very good, wonderful ambience. Had the Black & Blue salad. Loved it! Overall great experience.
Hands down, best local restaurant in Everett! Enjoying traditional Irish meal of cornbeef and cabbage for me with Harper ale and Colcannon concoction for Bob. Excellent food, Mary Jane was wonderful, attentive waitress and great atmosphere. Irish band is about to start. Happy St. Patty's Day!

Business response:
Thanks Mary! So glad you enjoyed yourself.
We love Buck's! Friendly service and fabulous appetizers are their specialty!

The servers were extremely courteous and professional. The first time I was here for lunch and it was very good. The last time I was here I had the Ossobuco at the encouragement of my brothers that dine there regularly. This dish is seasonal, served in the fall and winter. The pork shank was expertly prepared, fall off the bone tender with delicious flavor. It had a demi gla... read more
