Appalling. I was first referred to maxillofacial in 2020. After investigations I was told I need a day case surgery. I last saw the consultant in July 2022 and he told me that I should have my surgery by December. I presumed he meant December that year. How stupid of me to presume. Unfortunately, three years on and I have heard absolutely nothing despite my Doctor writing to the department, with no response.
