The most recent experience, which is among many, is just how unprofessional and inconsiderate the property managers are that Brookside Properties hires. We received a notice of work that needed to be done and that the water would be shutoff on June 11. Well it was not turned off and we were not notified of a change in plans or an alternate date that the work would be done. I've lived at this apartment complex for almost 5 years and loved it...right up until Brookside Properties bought it. Since then, my rent has gone up nearly $400 a month, unnecessary "upgrades" have been forced on tenants, and somehow the things residents actually ask to be fixed remain broken. The new washer/dryer combos are so awful mine flooded enough times to collapse my downstairs neighbor's ceiling. We now get the bonus features of mildew smells, wolf spiders, and centipedes. truly terrible experience living at a brookside property community. they don’t care about or listen to residents. work orders take 5 ever to get fixed, water shut off for days at a time.
