I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Qayyam today at Brookside Wilderness for ongoing post surgery pain. Not only was she efficient, informative, and helpful, but she also made me feel genuinely at ease during a difficult time. She listened with care, offered clear advice, and addressed the problem with compassion and professionalism. I’m truly grateful for her support and expertise.
Appointment made for July 1st 2024. As I am elderly, have never been to this surgery before, I was awake most of night worried about traffic, bad at most of times, Mondays very, and 8 30 in morning, hell. I left so I would not be late, could not find surgery, had to drive as miles from where I live. As I had no hope of finding, I hurried back home, so I could cancel, give someone else a chance. How on earth can you make an appointment?? This is the second time I have needed the surgery since the merger and the second awful experience. I have been off work ill (unusual for me) since Friday 18th evening, I have been getting worse all weekend and have phoned well over 15 times (I have literally lost count) to try and speak to someone this morning (Monday 21st) but it just cuts me off and says try again later.
