Brookside Animal Hospital was established in 1960 at the corner of 12th Street and Wall Avenue in Ogden, Utah by Dr. Eric Isaacson and Dr. I.G. Liljenquist. Designed to accommodate both large and small animals, the facility originally included horse and cow chutes to the west of the building. Following the untimely death of Dr. Isaacson in 1965, Dr. Liljenquist limited the practice to small animals. The staff at Brookside are incredible!! Huge thanks to Dr. Penrod who made one of our roughest days a little gentler! She provided incredible care and was so gentle with our pup! Having to say goodbye to a friend is never easy and the staff at Brookside helped to ease some of the pain by providing such outstanding care! Truly a huge thank you!

They were the only hospital that was booked full and still said for me to bring our sweet Bella in. Got there and was seen within 10 minutes. Doctor Henderson was so sweet and after Bella had her blood work and x-rays Dr. Henderson went over everything and explained every detail. Answered all our questions we had!

Everything about this place is excellent. The environment is so welcoming, as well as the employees. Very kind hearted and understanding. I definitely trust them with my furr babies..
I have used a lot of Animal Hospitals in my lifetime of being owned by furkids but I have to say that Brookside is one of my favorites. The kindness they have shown me in the treatment of my animals has been so wonderful. My husband and I are totally alone here in Utah and only have our furkids and they are our children and our lives, Brookside understands this. We have lost three beloved furkids and their understanding helped. This is one great and understanding Animal Hospital.
