Brookside Animal Hospital was established in 1960 at the corner of 12th Street and Wall Avenue in Ogden, Utah by Dr. Eric Isaacson and Dr. I.G. Liljenquist. Designed to accommodate both large and small animals, the facility originally included horse and cow chutes to the west of the building. Following the untimely death of Dr. Isaacson in 1965, Dr. Liljenquist limited the practice to small animals. very unprofessional staff acted like they didnt wanna help you and there were three people looking at us and a front receptionist and the only one to address us and help us was sunny ,I will never take my dog back shes a german shepherd with anxiety and the doctor didn't wanna help us so we now will have to take her to another animal doctor to help her itching and anxiety
the best vet ever... I am very happy with the attention to detail and every one is so helpful and nice. I would recommend these vets and techs to everyone
Dr. Henderson helped me with every option to help my Lance dog. When we ran out of options and he was miserable, she helped me to make the incredibly difficult decision to let him go. Without the compassion of her and staff, I don't know how I would have handled any of the last few years. I'll never go anywhere else for my current and future dogs.
I truly wish I could get 0 stars. This place is super unprofessional. We put our sweet dog down 3 months ago. At the time of putting her down we were told that we would have her ashes back within a month. Okay no problem. Well when it neared close to a month we never heard anything. So we contacted them only to find out she had been there for over two weeks. She was sitting in the breakroom and then they mober her in to a freaking coat closet. But hey still NO CALL. Everything. It's always been Brookside for mine. They're the best, and have done the best by my doggies for about 15 years. I've been lucky to watch Brookside grow as they've watched and helped my doggies grow. I always recommend them to family and friends -- and always will. I just can't thank them enough for all they've done for me.
I love every staff member at Brookside! they are all so friendly! My favorite Dr. is Dr. Penrod! She has the best bedside manor! as well as all the staff!! We have been taking our animals to Brookside for years! We don't even think about going anywhere else.
