Brookside Animal Hospital was established in 1960 at the corner of 12th Street and Wall Avenue in Ogden, Utah by Dr. Eric Isaacson and Dr. I.G. Liljenquist. Designed to accommodate both large and small animals, the facility originally included horse and cow chutes to the west of the building. Following the untimely death of Dr. Isaacson in 1965, Dr. Liljenquist limited the practice to small animals. My teacup poodle started getting sick on her heart guard one of the vet's at Brookside had a compounded formula made for her, the vet failed to tell me it was NOT FDA approved, safe or effective within 4 hours of taking the first pill my peaches was blind, when I ran my peaches into her to show her what she had done she didn't even know what to do, she didn't know she was supposed to give her charcoal and every mistake she made from the compounded formula to having me take peaches down to AVC in Salt Lake cost my little peac... read more
Hi, you guys need to answer your office phone. You are in possession of my puppy and I would like to know how his surgery went/is going. If I have to drive down there to get an answer where a phone call will suffice I'm going to be very upset.
This happened awhile back but my cat got really ill and I had called the hospital and spoke to the receptionist and told her if they had a payment plan if my cat needed extensive medical care and she said yes so I made an appt and showed up...they turned me away because they did not do that...the receptionist was an idiot...my cat ended up passing away a few days later...
I love this place they helped me in reuniting and lost dog with her owners.
Wish I could find a people Doctor that could even come close!
Brookside Animal hospital and it's staff is absolutely the best! They have saved many of our babies over the years. Shared laughs and tears. We love them. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication. And thank you Dr. Kathy Penrod for always being there for this crazy family.
Every vet here is awesome!!!! They have taken such good care of my dogs and my cats. My Roxy dog was injured once and they didn't bat an eye to get her in and take care of her. After I had my cat put down after so manny years of love not only did they send me a card but they had a cat that needed a home and thought of my family... She was a perfect fit.
We have been going to brookside for many years. I love the people there. Dr. Henderson is just the greatest. She has always taken great care of our babies through the good times and the bad. We are sincerely greatful for her time and love!
