This cafe was one of the first restaurants to bring the mixture of Manhattan chic and Southern comfort to the Atlanta dining scene. The interior is decorated in a comfortable modern style with photographic reminders of the borough. The place gets pretty busy and loud on weekend nights, but the service remains efficient, and the food more than makes up for the high decibels. Favorites include the hearty pasta dishes, the tender veal and the very extensive wine list. Call-ahead seating is offered instead of reservations.

Consistently good food, great wine, and nice service.
I just left Brooklyn Cafe for the second time. The first time, the food was DELICIOUS and I couldn't believe I hadn't been there sooner. My second time was today. This was our first visit to the Brooklyn Cafe on the recommendation of one of our Emory nurses. From the moment we walked in the door, the service was impeccable. Jerome, our server, provided a detailed description of the specials and recommendations from the lunch menu as well.
