This cafe was one of the first restaurants to bring the mixture of Manhattan chic and Southern comfort to the Atlanta dining scene. The interior is decorated in a comfortable modern style with photographic reminders of the borough. The place gets pretty busy and loud on weekend nights, but the service remains efficient, and the food more than makes up for the high decibels. Favorites include the hearty pasta dishes, the tender veal and the very extensive wine list. Call-ahead seating is offered instead of reservations.

very good food Small menu but very good food. I love the lobster bisque and crab cakes. The short ribs are great, juicey and falls off the bone. Great wine selection.
Somthing Different If you're looking for someting different, here's the restuarant. The service was excellent. The food was good. What I liked about this restuarant was the feel. The personell really took care of you. The prices are within a good budget range. I left there full. I would recommend this restuarant for casual dining or a place before or after a show.
RecommendedThe best local dining experience in Sandy Springs. The food and service are consistent while the ambiance remains chic and friendly. Crab cakes are the best in metro Atlanta, and being from Charleston, I do not rate crab cakes on an easy scale!

In the crazy times we are in its important to support your local business. We have been frequenting Brooklyn Cafe since we moved to sandy springs 4 years ago. The service and food are outstanding. The staff performs like a family....that gets along ;o) We ordered a delivery today of a couple of our favorites, the grilled salmon and Jacks creole chicken sausage and rice. Great food. Pam and Tyler has the New Zealand Lamb Chops, I had the Sea Bass. Sherrie provided excellent and friendly service.
The Brooklyn Cafe parking lot was full at 12:30 on a Monday which is always a positive sign. We were seated quickly even though one member of our party wasn’t there yet, which was a bonus. Our server was excellent - on top of everything, told us all about the specials, made recommendations, etc. We enjoyed the food - I had the crab cake and it is excellent - chock full of lump crab with very little else. The food is incredible and the staff is great. I’m moving out of town but I will miss this restaurant. Gina is awesome. She’s so funny and chooses the best wines.
