Absolutely waste of time unless your the blinds company itself. BBSA don't care about health and safety for customers. Select blinds ordered blinds for my windows which they said at the time were suitable for my windows and then realised my windows won't open with the blinds refused to refund as it was fault on their side. BBSAs review was there is no law for the windows to open or be restricted. Great organisation, who supports companies of all sizes within the industry, in particular with regard to legislation and standards, simplifying the complex and lobbying for the interests of the shading industry.
Fantastic organisation which help the UK shading industry in multiple ways. Acting a an independent body the BBSA bridge the gap from B2B as well as B2C providing informative information and advise.
This Association may be very helpful to the trader, either new in the business or even an established one. However, it is very biased towards the trader and regards the customer/client with disbelief and almost a rebuff as I have witnessed with an ongoing complaint regarding a very inferior job done with lots of mistakes made by Solaire Blinds Limited, who are immune to any criticism and are clearly backed up by BBSA
