I travelled two hours from London to Bristol to view a property that was advertised as a long term let. When I arrived, I was told they didn’t know how long the let would be and it turned out to only be six months. This was misleading and showed a lack of due diligence. When I asked if they had any other suitable properties, I was simply told to check the website. The whole experience gave the impression of a disorganised and unmotivated agency. I would not recommend using them to find a property.
I had a very smooth and positive experience with Bristol Property Centre, thanks to KATIE BRITT. She was professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the process. From the property viewing to setting up the tenancy, everything was handled efficiently and clearly. Katie answered all my questions with patience and competence, which made the whole experience much easier than I’ve had with other agencies in the past. BE CAREFUL! Double-check what you’re being signed up for and the cancellation fees/details. My daughter thought she had to sign up for an expensive utilities package as part of the paperwork, as it was not made clear, and then the same estate agent was very unresponsive when she wanted to cancel. It’s been a very costly lesson to cancel this - £250 is a lot for students to have to pay, but the package was SO expensive that this pays for itself in a couple of weeks!
I have used Bristol Property Centre to help rent out properties I have owned and also to sell properties. I have found them to be very helpful in all aspects of renting and selling. I would recommend them if looking to sell your property or to manage rental properties.
