RecommendedWe have been seeing Dr. O’Brien for almost two years now. Bright Eye Consultants have a friendly office staff and are quick to answer any questions you may have. If anyone has asked about eye care for their children I have directed them to Dr. O’Brien.

Not a very kid-friendly office considering it is a pediatric specialist! We waited in a small room with nothing for kids other than a tv - waited 45 minutes for his eye drops to dialate his eyes - then the doctor was surprised my 16mo old was fussy. He actually left the room to get ear plugs because my son was crying. My son was terrified and he seemed very uneasy around fussy kids - just kept asking me to hold him still and finally had his nurse come hold his head still while my son screamed hysterically- just some slight i... read more
My son enjoyed both visits. Very kid friendly and Chris is funny! I like how they make the appointment fun.

RecommendedMy family and I were in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area on vacation when my 9 year old son sustained an eye injury in the swimming pool. Visited Laconte Hospital and were transferred to East Children’s, which referred us to Bright Eye! My son and I were very impressed with the staff and their assistance during this unexpected injury! Everyone was polite and explained everything to my son before doing it, which alleviated his stress and made him more comfortable. I would highly recommend this office to anyone!
