I was genuinely disappointed by the receptionist’s behaviour at Brierley Park Medical Centre in Huthwaite today. I had hoped the experience would be better than at Skegby, but unfortunately, it was just as discouraging. While waiting for the doctor to clarify a quick point—something that would have taken less than 10 seconds—the receptionist repeatedly insisted the doctor had other patients to see. Things go from bad to worse, my wife needed a blood test at home for a serious problem, no one had been for over a week, rang surgery and they said it would be done towards the end of august, it is now September and still not done, needed home visit on Monday at 9am but could not get one until Tues. Always had a positive view of this surgery but recently they've been really frustrating. Haven't been able to order my repeat prescription on the NHS app and so on 3 occasions, I've had to ring up and on the phone they say "oh, I've put your request through and you should be able to order it now" low and behold, I couldn't order them so I have to ring up again. Today, for the fourth time, I ring up and I'm on hold for 50 minutes, I get to queue position 2 and then I hear from a robot "I'm sorry, we are unable to take your ca... read more

Constant problems with the issue of prescription medication that I require every month. Order meds online as instructed, wait a week, go to collect meds- nothing there. Twice now I’ve had to call 111 for emergency supplies of required meds. Just been on the phone now on the prescriptions helpline for well over half an hour and was cut off! So now waiting again in the queue. Constantly told they are changing to improve patient service. There is no service- extremely poor!
