Dr Keener has been working with me on hand injuries sustained during rock climbing. He listens well, offers a range of options and explains the benefits and drawbacks of each. Dr. Keener is opn to a treatment plan that meets my end goals while preserving my ability to continue climbing. He has excellent surgical skills and is an avid researcher on new procedures that may be relevant.

Great hand surgeon and would recommend him to everyone. His bedside manner was outstanding since I know I came off as a worry wart and kept asking questions but he was very patient and addressed all of my concerns. I really appreciate all he did for me!

Saw Dr. Keener yesterday and not impressed He has absolutely no bedside manner and comes across very cold and impersonal. Did not even review my chart before coming in to meet with me. If I need a follow up for my health issue, I will request to be seen by another associate. This doctor just does not seem to fit in with the other orthopedic specialists in this practice.

Dr Keener is very distant and has no bedside manner at all. He also does not review your history very well before he enters the room for your appointment. He barely acknowledges you when he enters the room. I had to remind him that I already had the tests he was suggesting I have. On the day of my surgery he did not even say good morning or any personal greeting. All he asked me was what kind of surgery I was having. I also had some issues with my surgery and he was so dismissive.

Great hand surgeon...calm, patient and always had time for my calls during post-op. I would highly recommend Dr. Keener to all my friends.

I had hand surgery in 2015 performed by Dr. Keener and my surgery and recovery went exactly as he explained it would. I had had no pain or no complications since surgery. Dr. Keener is a wonderful surgeon!!

He is arrogant. Took off skin that was still attached. I'm in agony since. Wanted to take my whole finger along with the bone that is on my hand. The top off my finger is the only place the tissue is dead. Horrible experience. Never redressed my wound when he pulled the skin off. Had to do that myself.
