When I first met Dr Cole he informed me that the pain and lack of mobility in my shoulders was due to arthritis. He recommended a total shoulder replacement,he explained what the procedure would entail and the expected outcome , six weeks post surgery no pain and my mobility gets better every day. I’m so pleased with the results I’ve scheduled my surgery for the other shoulder. Bill K
Dr. Cole was great from the initial consult, set realistic expectations and explained the procedure in detail. Surgery day was well planned and everything went flawlessly. I was weight bearing immediately following my ACL reconstruction surgery and happy to report that 7 weeks post op, my knee/leg function for non ACL engaging activities is at 100%.
At the age of 43 I had severe end stage arthritis in both shoulders. I had had numerous previous surgeries for a variety of shoulder ailments. The last resort was to have a total shoulder replacement on both shoulders. It was very important to me to have a doctor who was highly rated and very competent in the procedure. I waited appt 15 min to see Dr Cole who was very personable and upfront that I was not a candidate for the procedure I was hoping to have but quickly referred me to an associate whom he thought would be able to help. Since I had driven 3 hours his staff quickly got me into the other Dr within 30 min. I appreciate his honesty that he himself could not help me but helping me to find an alternative so quickly!!
Took my son for a second opinion on a stress fracture. Dr. Cole was great. He advised us on the situation and about keeping him back from baseball longer and he was right, it needed extra time. My son’s arm is fine now.
Dr. Brian Cole is the most personable surgeon I’ve ever met. Dr. Brian Cole is the only surgeon who took on my knee osteochondral allograft when so many others turned me away. He quickly makes a diagnosis and has a plan to correct it. He is the only doctor I trust to handle my knee.
Dr. Cole and his staff are always knowledgeable and more than willing to help the patient with cutting-edge techniques.
I had a great experience from consultation to professional follow up after my knee surgery. When meeting with Dr. Cole, I always felt like I had his full attention. After my surgery, I received two follow up calls from his PA’s to see how I was doing. I had a previous surgery elsewhere and absolutely did not receive this level of support. I would highly recommend Dr. Cole and his team.
Dr. Cole is a fabulous surgeon. I'm 3 months out from a total shoulder replacement and am fully functional again. 1 day of pain, 2 months of discomfort (sleeping is the most difficult thing about the recovery). I still need to gain a little more strength then hope to be golfing again in a month.
