I was referred to Dr Cole and his team due to specific surgical needs that were unable to be performed where I live and was told by my local physician that this is the orthopedic surgeon you go to for my issue I was having(Osteochondral Defect of the humeral head). Dr. Cole performed total replacement surgery on both shoulders this year, the left in January and the right in September. I am currently pain free, having just completed physical therapy on my right shoulder. The results have been amazing, and I have resumed normal activity. I will continue to strengthen both shoulders in the coming months, and am looking forward to sports activities with my children in the spring. He is knowledgeable and great at what he does. He is personable and explains in detail. His staff of PAs are easy to contact after surgery through phone or direct email. Paige was always right there for any question or need.
Dr. Cole has given my knee a chance to recover when all other physicians said I had no options. He gave me an opportunity to beat the odds and it's coming to fruition.
Dr cole was very knowledgeable about my injury and spent a good amount of time explaining all my options. He was very personable and made me feel at ease about my upcoming surgery.
I went to see Dr Cole for a second opinion for my shoulder/rotator cuff issue. He more clearly defined my situation and likely recovery outcome. Very personal and caring in discussion. He does have a large team that I found to be very attentive. I am ahead of schedule in PT. Oak Brook Surgery Center is clean, new and very convenient for access.
Dr. Cole and his team have been great. I've been to 3 of their facilities and the service offered by the entire staff is efficient and professional. My healing was much quicker than with surgeries I've had from other surgeons. I would highly recommend him.
