Dr. Hampton replaced my hip last fall. Since this was my first surgery of this type, I have no one with whom to compare him. As far as doctors are concerned, he was less than helpful. For example, I asked for a prognosis for surgery on my other hip. I expected his best guess as to whether it would need replacing and when. He answered with, “You’ll let me know.” Not helpful. While I’m sure this is a very competent doctor the time with him was rushed (under 15 minutes ) so that I didn’t fully understand the rationale for the additional test he ordered. I also didn’t feel the iPad questions allowed for an adequate medical history and would have been better asked in person. This was an initial visit and should have been more thorough

I am lucky to have had Dr. Hampton treat infection in both of my knees, and redo a Total Knee Replacement. He handled tricky issues with confidence & ease. Thank you, Dr. Hampton!
