Bad Office Staff, Who Needs That? Office staff very rude and inconsiderate. They cancelled my son's appointment without letting us know and basically said he needs to find a dentist where he is going to school. They do not work well with people and frankly don't care if you come see them or not. We liked Dr. Branson. Too bad his practice is based on his office staff's demeanor.
Excellent Care I went to Dr. Branson for the first time recently because I had an abcess tooth. He took great care of me, and the root canal was the LEAST painful I have ever had. It was absolutely no worse than a filling. I've also never been kept waiting past my appointment time, and they have late appointments (4:00 pm), which means you don't have to miss so much work. I'm recommending him to all my co-workers. The receptionist can be a bit brusque, but I think that's just her manner sometimes. She can be quite nice most ... read more
Lucky Patient I am a patient of Dr. Branson's and really enjoy having him as my dentist. I have had alot of problems with my teeth lately, and he has helped me through them. He is painless and quick! Everytime I have visited his office he and his staff have been very nice and friendly. It is a very warm and caring environment! My family and I wouldn't change dentists for the world!
HORRIBLE OFFICE MANAGER I would NEVER recommend this dentist office to anyone. Not even my worst enemy. YES..the dentist Dr. Branson is very nice and I enjoyed my cleaning with him BUT his rude wife is another story. I called to confirm my appointment because I had NOT received a call prior to my appointment date and she was so rude and then told me I no longer had an appointment and to find another dentist. Steer clear of this dentist! Not only did this unbelievably rude dentist's wife/receptionist attempt to overcharge me (according to my insurance company), she also tried adding office visit charges which weren't allowed under the insurance policy. When I questioned the overcharge (she was adding "lab" fees), I was told by this slovenly shrew that "she was tired of being nickled and dimed to death" by people and to "Get out, we don't want your business!" No Customer Service This place is a dive in Watauga. I scheduled a cleaning, but only got a check up. I didn't need a check up. I needed a cleaning. They scheduled me a cleaning for two months later. I forgot about it, but never received a call to remind me before the appointment, or after I missed it. I called to ask about it and was told that is how they work. They don't have time to deliver customer service....REALLY?
Mr. Worst experience ever. They were running late and I said I did not have time for x-rays all I needed was a cleaning (had just had x-rays 6 months earlier). Refused to do the cleaning and when I continued to question why I needed x-rays when I had x-rays last time I was there. I was told to leave right now and if I didn't they would call the police. STAY AWAY at all costs!! Horrible Rude Secretary...had the nerve to yell at us... then the "son" bad the nerve to call us back and yell at us. If this is how they run their business...they will NEVER touch my teeth! All reviews I have read have been very similar to mine...HORRIBLE AND RUDE...except for what must be "family friends" to get the ratings higher!
Incredibly rude I have never been treated so rudely by anyone answering a telephone. When I attempted to discuss my insurance with her, she got nasty and HUNG UP ON ME! I was willing to pay cash up until that point. On a call back, she told me SHE OWNED THE BUSINESS and didn't want me. The lady's name was Sharon.
