I have chronic knee pain that had not improved with physical therapy at the time I saw him. He dismissed my prior experiences, barely made an examination, and then sent me to physical therapy within the hospital network. He was so confident that I don't have a significant problem that there's no way I'm going back, even though the second physical therapy was ineffective and I still have pain.
I found Dr. Raphael to be pleasant, supportive, knowledgeable and helpful.
I have been extremely pleased with Dr. Raphael's level of care, patient interaction and skill. I have already highly recommended him to others. I feel very comfortable under Dr. Raphael's care because I trust him and very much appreciate the attention and concern he shows his patients.

Dr Raphael was very attentive to my concerns about surgery and answered all my questions. He made me feel confident I was making the right decision.
I have had problems with my right post meniscus surgery. Dr. Raphael has been very proactive in dealing with the pain and the lack of structural stability that I have had. He has told me that I am in great need of quadracep strengthening exercises to further increase the stability of my knee.
Good experience
He did not spend much time with me. Seemed arrogant and interested only in whether I had something he could operate on. I ultimately saw another physician and was much happier.
