The place was completely gutted in 2006 and was rebuilt again. The restaurant is famous for its wonderful oysters, seafood platter and shrimps. It takes pride in using the freshest ingredients and the catch of the day is always worth trying out. You can also book private parties at this venue.

We loved the food. The fish and shrimp was really good. We came from North Georgia for some fresh seafood and we will be back.

Great atmosphere and food. A must go to when visiting Charleston. The sun was setting over the marsh when we went and it was simply beautiful!

This is an absolute must! Order the roasted oysters "with a little bit of help" (cooked rare). My favorite restaurant experience when I visited!

The outside of the building was old and worn down, but the food was great. Best fried oysters I've had, light, not chewy, and clean taste. Shrimp was really good, but could have some improvement (really good though), and the hushpuppies were of the cornbread type, so taste great if you like old southern style hushpuppies, coleslaw, tatter sauce, and cocktail sauce taste homemade.
Great place and great food. Really good price. A must go to when here.
