After a day of fishing, we went to Bowens Island, at the urging of our good friends and boating mates. The drive is absolutely worth it, heaping platters of fresh caught seafood, delicious, and almost too much to eat! We really enjoyed it! I highly recommend the "Big Ol' Seafood Platter" for those with a hearty appetite! What a great place and on a beautiful marsh setting.

We enjoyed a great dinner of fried oysters and corn on the cob...the weather was outstanding. There were wonderfulbreezes..we ate on the deck...no no-see-ums....good times...we will be back
