I typically avoid the touristy environment at the Wharf, but my visit to the Bistro (their upstairs restaurant) at Boudin was an eye-opener. Not only is it elegant and spacious, but it overlooks both their active Bakery - oh, those smells! - and the best parts of our waterfront: the Liberty Ship, submarine, Red & White Fleets leaving for Alcatraz and the Mechanic's Museum among others there at the foot of Taylor Street
Best sourdough bread in the world. My favorite all time tomato soup and grilled cheese. Yum!

Was fantastic!!! Best sourdough I've ever had. Everything was fresh and delicious. The sourdough tortilla tacos were to die for. I recommend it all!
Wonderful sourdough and staff! I traveled all the way from Southern California and made it a point to drop in while I was in town. I loved the different shapes that the sourdough came in.
It was delicious and fast! It's first come first serve seating if you choose to not go with full service but it worked out fine!
