As a young girl we always went to have our bread bowl clam chowder with my family. As a teen I would go with friends. As a mother myself I would take my own children. As a gmother I continue the tradition. If visiting San Francisco, can't leave without having our delicious bread bowl clam chowder, even though we have one here in Stockton something special about S.F BOUDINE!!!
Good place to eat...if your in SF you have to stop here. It is a signature place.
I had roast beef sandwich, the bread was so old and hard my teeth couldn't cut. I was shocked from a bread making company to serve such bread. Beef was good but whole sandwich was waisted by the bread. Never again a $ 13 awful sandwich.
Fantastic museum and bakery tour. Well worth the visit but hot as both in the bakery area! So dress light!
We had just gotten off a boat tour looking to sit down and eat somewhere with our 3 children. My husband happened walk by and spot on the menu that they had pizza for the kids. Score! We had never been here or knew about the bread. What a pleasant surprise. We headed upstairs to the restaurant. It was amazing. We were seated in a booth with an amazing view, our Server was very good and we never wanted for anything. The food was delicious and we fully intend to come back for dinner on our next trip back.
My sister, my daughter, my grandson and I had lunch there yesterday upstairs. Every time I come here to eat I am never disappointed! Great food everytime!
