Great fresh seafood and bread. Amazing view/location but slow service. You would think they would be better prepared and staffed during this busy time of the year...

Great food ..especially the clam chowder sour dough bread bowl.
The chowder was good. Nothing as good as what I got when I was growing up in CT. That’s yet to be surpassed. Check out the SS Chowderpot III in Branford, CT for the best chowder you will get. The service was spectacular and the oysters I had were amazing. They gave me an assortment of local oysters, all nice and briny. It’s worth the trip there as they are an American institution. The sourdough bread was delicious however the clam chowder was not good. It was lacking seasoning and there were very few pieces of clam. I prefer the food at the pier. The museum was very entertaining.

My husband has had your clam chowder before. This was my first time to San Francisco!!! It was undoubtedly the best clam chowder and sour dough bread I have had!!!
