House of great character in a great location, great for a week long party
We loved our stay in Borrodale House- an amazing family house seeped in history with a super cosy yet spacious feel to it. Equipped with everything you could possibly need. So much fun was had during our October week. Beautiful scenery and colours everywhere. Walking, paddle boarding, swimming, sand castle competitions, exploring, rib rides at Mallaig with Jayne dolphin spotting- wow! Borrodale House described by the owners as, “a proper house” is spot on! Large enough for a catch up holiday with friends or extended family for that memory filled holiday on the best coast of Scotland! Comfortable for old & young alike, cosy if the weather turns and so much space for everyone to find their little piece of downtime amongst this historical home. We have been to Borrodale house in the summer and again in the winter. Both times we couldn’t have asked for better. The weather was also on our side. The beach walks and scenery were beautiful. Nothing like the views anywhere else. The house is spacious yet cosy and very comfortable for our large group of friends. The owners have made the house feel like a home, which is hard to do in a holiday let. We hope to return soon as it truly is a wonderful place to holiday.
