The people at Borcherding GMC are friendly; however, there is a significant lack of capability in their service department. Our GMC Acadia is nearly 1.5 yrs old but has required no less than 10 service appointments, mostly due to reoccurring issues that the service department was unable to resolve. Chris Clever and Steve Camp were so helpful and understanding in my situation! My 2013 Terrain was totalled in an accident, and my insurance company was still getting the details completed. I was in a time crunch, because I had to go out of town to help get my mother's house ready for market (she passed away a year ago), and I only had a couple of days before I had to leave. Bought a car. Tried starting it up at home (the salesman started it on test drive and when we took it home) the key wouldn't turn. We called the salesman and he said to mash the key into the ignition. The key's already bent. Bad sale. Salesman hid the flaw.
bought a 2002 oldsmobile and it was a great car until I took it home. The key wouln't turn in the ignition and it got worse and worse through out the week. I had to walk home from work after midnight because this car woudn't work. The sales person (who will remain nameless for now) started the car for the test drive and when I took it home.
