Been here since young child. All staff are all lovely and helpful. Dr aspden is amazing the most kind, caring & understanding doctor very supportive and helpful. Ann is also amazing very lovely person always check how you are b4 tests make sure ur comfortable. Happy here and sometimes it's just the way it is with appointments being hard to get at times but not the staffs fault they all work hard and put in the time and effort. Miss Dr Sivori and vinchenzo who were also brilliant doctors. Always been great and reassured here

It can be a bit frustrating trying to get an appointment at time's, but I honestly cannot fault the doctors, practice nurses, nursing practitioner and receptionists.

The practice manager handled my complaints well and implemented changes to support my needs so i've changed my review to 5 stars again. Dr Aspden is amazing! Was very understanding and supportive of my struggles and needs. She really helped to alleviate a lot of anxieties I have during appointments and was really helpful in guiding me for the next steps in my health and concerns. Thank you Dr Aspden & Nikki Reid for being understanding and supportive of my needs and concerns

As i'm Autistic It is extremely difficult to do phone calls, make appointments and have verbal communication. I contacted today and asked for reasonable adjustments that would enable me to get an appointment due to my condition and its limitations. I was told "We are busy and you'll have to call up at 8am as normal". It is not that simple for some Autistic people. Bootle Village Surgery had taken care of my grandmother through all of her ill health, up until her death for many many years. Potentially decades. For this reason, I have remained with the practice and they have been excellent in handling any issues or requests i've had. Although getting an appointment can be difficult and almost competitive, I cannot fault this GP. The same is happening across the country due to the strain on the NHS.
