I have worked with Alpay over the last year and he’s great. He installed a Viessman 111-w and made sure it was properly set up for OpenTherm with a Tado smart heating system, while making sure it works with our multi-zone underfloor heating (no one else I spoke to knew how to get this done right). Al came and replaced a 17 year old, nightmare Potterton Powermax system boiler with a 'Rolls-Royce' Worcester-Bosch Combi. As he started, it became obvious that the flue route (the boiler is in the middle of the flat, not attached to an external wall) wasn't as straight forward as had first seemed, and to comply with modern safety regs, he'd need to cut out and install additional access hatches along the flue route. Al was friendly and knowledgeable at first and installed the boiler of our choice at a fair price, not the cheapest. After installation, Al said he needed to come back and check on the filter a week later. When the week came up Al did not contact us so we gave him a call. Al said he would come tomorrow, but he did not turn up. I called him again then he said he will come tomorrow as he had an emergency. I took the day off the next day again and he did not turn up.
