I took my mother for a Sunday breakfast. The food was very good. I had pancakes that were better than most. The biscuits and gravy were very good, but the biscuits were too thick in my opinion. The ham portion was generous but very salty. Now, for the reason for 4 stars....the waitress was very pleasant but had something more important than customers on her mind. This is seriously the BEST fried chicken in Birmingham!
I really enjoyed it. I drove over between my 8 am service at Sanctuary and had a quick absolutely delicious breakfast before the 11am service. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was great and the service was expedient and courteous. The door greeter that seats customers took a phone call from me and guided me with exact directions to the restaurant. She went above and beyond as did all of the staff. To sum up my experience, it was exceptional and wanted to say thx. I will be back soon!!!
The BEST meat and two anyone would want to choose from. Bogue's has always been my favorite even before it burned and was rebuilt!!!
