My mum was a resident at Bodmeyrick Care Home recently due to her advancing dementia, a fact that fills one with dread and uncertainty given the preconceived notions of what care homes are like. Though the home is ageing it has a comfortable feel about it, it is clean and tidy and is staffed by some of the most wonderful people in the profession. Special thank you to Sophie but indeed to all who looked after mum my sincerest thanks. Your understanding and compassion and caring made a difficult time all the more bearable.
