The same thing happened to me, I paid for gas and now I have to pay for rent on the cylinder, for which I was not informed from the beginning that I had to pay for rent and because I did not want to pay, a fee of £25 was added, I have not met the worst company in the UK, like BOC, and I want to sue them because they do not inform customers from the beginning what the fees and terms are.
Staff brilliant came to me ask me what I needed and fully helped me start to finish thank you once again
I've been a loyal customer of BOC for a long time. While I understand that prices inevitably rise, BOC has reached a point where their costs are so out of touch that I’ve decided to switch to another supplier. The bottle rental fees are exorbitant, and on top of that, they now charge £25 just to collect a bottle! There’s an £8 fee if you don’t set up a direct debit and another similar charge if they send you a letter. It’s shocking.
