History Established in 1968. Rufus Tavern was purchased by the Robert P. Baunach Family In 1968 and has grown to be one of the greatest places on the Columbia River to eat. Now known as Bob's Texas T-Bone. Bob's Texas T-Bone is 3rd Generation, Family Owned and Operated. All our Steaks are choice grade and cut here on premise, our burger is fresh ground and made daily. Bob's Texas T-Bone is well known for the 18-24 oz chuck steak we call the (Texas T-Bone) or (Truckers Spec.) also slow roasted Prime Rib every weekend!

Sign when you come in says to seat yourself. So we sat ourselves and waited. After 20 minutes, we decided we had waited long enogh and decided to leave. Only then did the waitress acknowledge our existance with a simple "Hi" as she passed by us.
Was in on Monday night. Food was outstanding. Service was fantastic. I will be back for more the next time through

THIS is how steaks ought to be prepared. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to medium-rare. Friendly service, great soup and salad bar with a nice variety of fresh choices.
