History Established in 1968. Rufus Tavern was purchased by the Robert P. Baunach Family In 1968 and has grown to be one of the greatest places on the Columbia River to eat. Now known as Bob's Texas T-Bone. Bob's Texas T-Bone is 3rd Generation, Family Owned and Operated. All our Steaks are choice grade and cut here on premise, our burger is fresh ground and made daily. Bob's Texas T-Bone is well known for the 18-24 oz chuck steak we call the (Texas T-Bone) or (Truckers Spec.) also slow roasted Prime Rib every weekend!

Don’t think twice if you are passing through, you will not regret it. 16oz T-Bone... mashed potatoes... garlic bread... side of onion rings... soup of the day... and Coors to wash it down. Chocolate Mousse Pie to finish the experience. Now we just drove about 400 miles on leftovers breakfast... so i was starving! With that said... I smashed through that meal. Almost ate the bone. usually great service but tonight was the exception
T_bone was flavorless, and super thin, French dip had 2 super thin pieces of beef on it and fries were barely warm! Had choice of one seat due to tables not being cleaned (no one at them) ... and waitress was too busy standing at the front so she didn't have to wear her mask, so we waited 10 minutes for our check! All that for an almost $50 bill!! We will NEVER be back ..I would rather go hungry
Try the ribeye steak. in house seating or take out.
