About this business
History Established in 1968. Rufus Tavern was purchased by the Robert P. Baunach Family In 1968 and has grown to be one of the greatest places on the Columbia River to eat. Now known as Bob's Texas T-Bone. Bob's Texas T-Bone is 3rd Generation, Family Owned and Operated. All our Steaks are choice grade and cut here on premise, our burger is fresh ground and made daily. Bob's Texas T-Bone is well known for the 18-24 oz chuck steak we call the (Texas T-Bone) or (Truckers Spec.) also slow roasted Prime Rib every weekend!

Made an unplanned stop here after my car broke down on the freeway. Our waitress was so kind, letting me charge my phone, & boxing up most of our meals when we had to quickly leave to meet the tow truck. We finished our meals later & they were still delicious! Great food, great service, great place! I'll be planning stops here in the future!
Friday's prime rib is the best we've ever had. It's worth the drive. Pop in and say hi to Jeff and his friendly staff.
The staff were friendly, service was quick and the food tasted great! I would recommend it :)
Great service and amazing steak, seafood platter burgers also good. Horseradish was awesome. Service was very good and they had no problems keeping up with a little pre-concert rush.

Loved the salad but when the fried chicken came inside was raw. The waitress said the chicken was smoked. Fried chicken??? Smoked??? $16.00. the drum sticks and wing were great, but the big pieces I just left on the plate. I had been driving too many hours to care.
The best wings in The Gorge! Make sure to get the blue cheese for dipping. A well stocked bar with drinks that are not watered down! Also - they do take out if you call ahead, which we do often! Jeff (the owner) I blame him for our recent weight gain!! We really just won't give up eating here. I guess it's time to exercise....
