About this business

History Established in 1968. Rufus Tavern was purchased by the Robert P. Baunach Family In 1968 and has grown to be one of the greatest places on the Columbia River to eat. Now known as Bob's Texas T-Bone. Bob's Texas T-Bone is 3rd Generation, Family Owned and Operated. All our Steaks are choice grade and cut here on premise, our burger is fresh ground and made daily. Bob's Texas T-Bone is well known for the 18-24 oz chuck steak we call the (Texas T-Bone) or (Truckers Spec.) also slow roasted Prime Rib every weekend!

Excellent food and prices. Always nice to truckers. Ok except those 3 females sitting on the end of the bar last new Years Eve lol

one of the best chuck steaks I've ever eaten, and I've been driving for over 45 years. The service was great also with lots of hot coffee.

If you want flavor you have to ask to have your steak seasoned? Calling yourself a Texas Steakhouse isn’t enough. In Texas, steakhouses are known for the flavors of their meat, and it’s tenderized. Good size portion but lacking in taste.

Our steak was tough, sinewy overdone & not seasoned at all. I had to ask for real bacon for my baked potato and the waitress came back & said it could take awhile bc they have to cook it! Well duh.. I hope so. She ignored our table until we finally asked for the check.. in which we had been overcharged for our meal. Turns out that the Steak portion of the menu doesn’t have every T-bone listed..somewhere on the bottom is a chuck.
